Ten talented hairdressers have won experiences with top Australian hairdressers in the 2015 Hair Shots 2 The World Star Spot Opportunity competition.

Hairdressers from country Australia and New Zealand were invited to enter in the competition of a lifetime, with the chance to work with some of Australia’s best hairdressers.

“We have had 10 successful recipients over the past three years who have had collections published worldwide, gained their first session experiences, or developed new skills and made amazing contacts in the process” Leanne Cutler of Hair Shots 2 The World said. “Mentorships with the industry’s best has proved to be a catalyst in boosting confidence and careers.”

This year eight regional hairdressers Star Spot Opportunities and two Random Start Spot places were awarded. 

Here are the 2015 winners:
Working with session stylist and trichologist Simone Lee on a photo shoot or event: Naomie Bryers-Shelley from The Unique Strand for Hair and Beauty in Paraburdoo, WA

Working backstage with long hair expert Lorna Evans at an event: Caitlin Hibberd from Tonic Hair Spa in Broken Hill, NSW

Spending the day with 2014-15 AHFA South Australian Hairdresser of the Year Kristy Hodgson in salon or assisting backstage: Caren Mackey from Do Hair in Invercargill, NZ

Working with award winner Kobi Bokshish of Intershape Hairstylists: On a photo shoot is Kristie Hedington from Bellus Studio in Rochester, VIC and at a backstage event is Bevan Cremer from Streamline Hair Design in Laurieton, NSW

Assisting Carole Haddad at the Natural Fibre Parades at the Brisbane Ekka: Chloe Schlaufer LC Hair in Raymond Terrace, NSW, Kelly Reeves from DNA Hairdressing in Ashburton, NZ and Jacky Quon from Smitten Hairdressing in Canberra, ACT
